2017 NCCSA Basketball Championship

Congratulations to the Tabernacle Christian School varsity boys’ and varsity girls’ basketball teams for winning the 2017 NCCSA 1A Boys’ and Girls’ State Championships. This is the third consecutive win for the boys’ team. The teams traveled to Durham, North Carolina, to Fellowship Baptist Academy where the tournament was held. The Rams played Fellowship’s home team in an intense, hair-raising game, winning 71-69 to earn the three-peat state champion title! Senior Jacob Purser described the experience as being “The most exciting game I have ever played.” The Lady Rams faced Victory Christian School from Sylva, North Carolina, winning 59-51. We give thanks to God for His blessing us with these incredible victories this year and in the past few years. He truly is good to Tabernacle Christian School. Be sure to give the Ram and Lady Ram team members a pat on the back and hearty congratulations when you see them.
