COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

The high risk symptoms of COVID-19 include:

• Fever (temperature of 100 or higher)
• Chills
• Shortness of breath or trouble breathing
• New cough
• New loss in taste or smell

The low risk symptoms of COVID-19 (these tend to be more common and when alone do not necessarily indicate COVID-19) include:

• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

“COVID-19-like illness” is defined as any child or adult with one high risk or two low risk criteria.
